齒輪是指輪緣上有齒輪連續(xù)嚙合傳遞運(yùn)動(dòng)和動(dòng)力的機(jī)械元件。齒輪在傳動(dòng)中的應(yīng)用很早就出現(xiàn)了。19世紀(jì)末,展成切齒法的原理及利用此原理切齒的專(zhuān)用機(jī)床與刀具的相繼出現(xiàn),隨著生產(chǎn)的發(fā)展,齒輪運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)的平穩(wěn)性受到重視。
